My favorite time of the year is fall but summer has it's advantages too. Summer picnics, days at the beach, the neighborhood ice cream truck, children in sprinklers, fresh vegetables, fishing, bbq, and strawberry lemonade just to name a few. Living in the south makes being outside during the day difficult at times due to the scorching heat. Sorry, I'm not a fan! But growing up in the south in the summer was the best! I remember running through the yard, chasing fireflies around the willow tree and sleeping late not having anything to do but just be...Maybe that's what I like about summer the most, the laziness of it...
